Bella Ciao

Level: Intermediate

Bella Ciao is a traditional Italian song that became famous as a resistance song during World War II. It was sung by partisans fighting against the fascist occupation in Italy. The song gained further recognition through the Netflix series "La Casa de Papel" (Money Heist), which introduced it to a new generation and now allows them to learn to play it too!

Tips for Playing

✔ Practice step by step: Repeat the Slow section as many times as needed until you feel comfortable, then move on to the next chapter.

✔ Hands separately first: Start by practicing the right hand (melody), then the left hand, and finally both together.

✔ Play with a partner: One person can play the melody while the other plays the accompaniment—great for learning together!

✔ Practice daily: Even just 15 minutes a day will help you improve steadily.

✔ Take your time: enjoy the process, and have fun playing!
